DESCRIPTION

This 15 days course in Peru has the objetive to take people who did the Full Mountain Skills Course Level 1 in Patagonia and apply the technical contents they learned to achieve two mayor objectives in a independent and safety way with our supervision. In this level the client will be able to climb two mountains higher than 5000 meters applying all the technical skills they learned with autonomy and criteria.

Contents

Sport Climbing

- Rock climbing technique. - Belaying the lead. - Lead a sport climbing route. - Built different types of anchors (EARNEST). -Clean anchors. -Absiel.

Trad Climbing

-Introducing the trad climbing in high altitude. - Rescue system in Trad climbing. - Belay system in multi-pitch in trad climbing. - Trad climbing safety.

Mountaineering

- Concept of acclimatization in high altitude. - Smart expedition planing in high altitud. - Rope glacier management refresh. - Glacier safety management. - Snow protection and anchors. - Crevasse rescue. - "Bomb proof" camping in a glacier.

Schedule

•3 Days Sport Climbing and acclimatization in crags around Huaraz, Peru. •3 Days trekking to Pisco Hut for acclimatization. •1 Day Trad Climbing. •1 Day Climbing Cerro Mateo for acclimatization. •7 Days climbing in Ishinca valley (Urus Mountain: 5450 mts. and Toclaraju Mountain: 6080 mts).

INCLUDE

•High Mountain Guide UIAGM / IFMGA and Mountain Guide AAGM/ UIMLA. • All meals in the climbing days. • Donkey's to Hishinca Base Camp. •Group equipment (Tents, stoves, pots, ropes) •Transfers from Huaraz to the begging of the trails.

NOT INCLUDED

•Flight tickets and buses from Lima to Huaraz. •Hotel and meals in Huaraz. •National Park entrance.
