Description

In the South-East zone of the Nahuel Huapi National Park and 18 km from the center of Bariloche is the Challuaco Valley. Surrounded by hills like the Nireco, Carbón, Ventana and Challhuaco: this area has landscapes and diversity of unique ecosystems. The departure starts with a transfer from Bariloche to the Challhuaco Valley, near the Neumeyer Refuge. From this point we begin to walk along a low difficulty trekking trail with red marks, crossing a beautiful high forest. After a few minutes of walking we will reach a panoramic point-view and “Los Patos Lagoonâ€. The walk continues until crossroad in which it divide the trail with that goes to the summit of the Co. Challhuaco. At this point, we continue straight towards Laguna Verde. Once in the lagoon, we can appreciate all the beauty and peaceful of the waters of the color that give it its name, home to a kind of "Micro-endemic Frog" unique in the world. If we continue walking 15 minutes more from this point by a trail that goes into the forest, we can reach the "Pedregoso Point view", where we can have a panoramic view of the City of Bariloche and Nahuel Huapi Lake. The return to the transfer it’s for the same road.
