Departing in the morning by transfer from the center of Bariloche, you will get up to "Arroyo López" in Circuito Chico. From here the walk begins. Crossing the first few minutes a high forest of “Coihues trees”; the road begins quickly ascending and gaining height. The vegetation begins to vary and we leave behind the coihues to find lengas, notros and others spices. The road continues to rise and the switchbacks begin to gain prominence. After the first hour of the walk you will arrive at the Roca Negra Refuge; Then continue to climb the trail that begins to cut a 4x4 road, until the end of this and the last meeters the trail it’s smaller and the vegetation also it’s smaller. Arriving at the López Refuge (1620 m). Once in the Refugio, there is the possibility to take a break and appreciate the view from the windows. The trail to the Tourist Peak continues from the Refuge by a well sign - trail, this more compromised part of the hike begins because the rocky terrain. After one more hour of walking, we find "La Olla", where depending on the time of year, we can find snow and a lagoon of pure water. From this point, the ascent continues for another 40 minutes to finally reach the Tourist Peak (2017 mts). The descent is done by the same path.
